Review of the film “Amelie”

Why do we watch movies, play games, read books?? To dive into a dream world I think. After all, there we can experience something that in real life is not even subject to every imagination. So the main character of the film “Amelie”, directed by French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet, actually Amelie, loves to dream. What if the world became a little more beautiful… What if everyone lived in abundance, there would be no beggars… If I could help people… Wait a minute, what’s stopping me?? So I took it and started helping. To understand what Amelie is like, you need to watch the film. Well… I’ll give you an example: Amelie, having learned about the death of Lady Di (Princess Diana, for those in the tank), wounds the cap of a bottle with something, and finds a cache that was left by an unknown boy 40 years ago. Some time later, Amelie finds that boy, who is now 50 years old. In a cunning way, she returns the treasured box to him. In a second on… Ok, this isn’t much of a spoiler, in fact it’s not a spoiler at all. A lot of memories come flooding back to Domenic Bredotto, and tears quietly roll down his cheeks. He remembers his daughter, whom he has not seen for a long time, and who, according to rumors, gave birth to a son. He decides to visit his family. This is where the plot begins. (I’ll tell you about her in the plot description) This is how Amelie deals with the problems of others, completely forgetting about her own.
(By the way, remember in one of IgroZor it was said about how Amelie asked her friend to photograph her father’s garden gnome in different parts of the world, after which he went on a trip?)

Plot
The plot of the film https://jackpotjillcasino.co.uk/games/ tells us how Amelie, having been late for the train (due to receiving a box) and falling asleep in a photo booth at a metro station, met a young man, but not an ordinary one, but with his “cockroaches”. He collects torn and crumpled photos from under cameras and carefully pastes them into a specially kept album. He is looking for a dancing stranger, who often appears in photos, in completely different places in the city. In pursuit of a stranger, a guy loses that very album. And Amelie, in pursuit of a guy, picks up an album. I think it’s clear that Amelie is trying to return the album, and the guy is looking for it.

Music
The film’s soundtrack was written by Yann Tiersen, a French musician and composer. He owns soundtracks for several more films, but he has many more full-length albums. I can say one thing about the music – it’s brilliant! A light, windy motif suddenly becomes truly sunny and cheerful. In some places the music is, of course, dark and sad, but rarely. After all, it’s a comedy film. You can even buy a disc with the soundtrack separately (if you find it in a store) or download it. It conveys a particular mood as fully and clearly as possible. Overall the music is decent. Rays of happiness to Mr. Tiersen.

Characters and actors
There are a lot of interesting characters in the film, which the actors play perfectly well.
This is Amelie’s Father, and the very young man whom Amelie is looking for, and the workers and visitors of the “Two Mills” cafe (Which, by the way, really exists, and not a disguised pharmacy), and the glass man – a good-natured grandfather, with a congenital flaw, very fragile bones, with whom Amelie, by the way, will become friends and will share her thoughts. This is the concierge of the house, who lost her husband long ago due to not very pleasant circumstances. This is a writer whose books are not accepted by any publishing house. And the owner of the vegetable shop, who is such a villain, but it’s okay, Amelie will teach him a lesson. Another interesting character works for him – Lucien, who is not too fast, and constantly receives stars from his boss. And many, many other. The actors are simply incomparable, you believe in each of them, the film is really fun and interesting to watch, the denouement is also intriguing. The film won’t let you go until the end.

Climax
This film is not a mountain of special effects and explosions, but an attempt to imagine a world without evil. The director clearly knew what he was doing and what he was filming. I recommend it to everyone, especially the whole family.
I really hope for your constructive criticism in the comments =)
Thank you everyone, Happy New Year, bye!
